Keeping it basic as possible I am Black man raised in the 80’s -90’s with all the typical issues we all had. The issues we faced were mainly a lack in communication and the lessons meant well, but were misguided. As an adult I had to look at those lessons and realize a lot of it was misdirected because it was misinformation. Most based out of fear for the unknown and mischaracterization because of the atrocities of the past. In most cases this built a shadow of low self esteem and fear of an invisible force always looking to hold us back, instead of realizing we are the force that can stop our success! Don’t need to take my word for that just look all throughout history, regardless of the era Blacks rise and conquer! If we focus more on those facts, our situations change!
